On Saturday, August 27, 2011, we will be setting up a “Late Registration” booth. It will be situated near the starting line that’s going to be setup near the fountain of the Venice Piazza.

On race day, August 27th, we are going to raffle off a complimentary overnight stay gift certificate at one of the coolest place to be in Subic – Lighthouse Marina Resort! But you’ve got to be a participant of the race and stay a little while after finishing to be able to get this awesome prize

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank our partners who’ve been a big help for us during these past few weeks. Without them, our run wouldn’t be as exciting as it would be today

Today, we received the sad news of Sofia’s passing.
She put up a really good fight until the end, but some good fights cannot just be won. Our hearts go out to Nhatz, Trish, Yoachim and Tyler, the family that she has left behind. Sofia will always be in our hearts and minds, continuing to inspire us to be brave and to stand up against any adversity that would come our way.
In memory of Sofia, the little girl with a big, big, brave heart, and with the blessing of her family, we are pushing through with our benefit run.
We thank everyone who has shown their full support for this event since we’ve begun setting it up 3 weeks ago. We hope that you continue to support us until the culmination of this activity.

Thanks to the very talented Ms. Daday Pascual, we now have additional visual impact when promoting this event .
Next week, we are targeting to finalize the race bib design, decide on the supplier and put in our order for printing. We are also firming up the details regarding registration (sites, fees, etc.) and get the information out by end of next week so that our eager supporters can already sign up for the run.
We are truly grateful for all kinds of support that we’ve received for this event, and for this I feel that we are so lucky. We hope to get more supporters and sponsors soon so that we can ensure that this run will be successful.
We only have one goal: Get 1000 compassionate individuals to run or walk with us on August 27, all to help Sofia and her family.
